How does your Overdraft Line of Credit work?  The Overdraft Line of Credit is attached to your checking account.  When funds are not available in your checking account to cover a check, debit or withdrawal, the Overdraft Loan will automatically advance funds to your checking account to cover the amount overdrawn.  Then, the check, debit or withdrawal will clear your account safely without incurring fees.  

Need a quick loan?  You can just advance from your Overdraft Line of Credit!  You can make advances yourself from Home Branch, our online account access, or through the Call Line, our audio response system, at 1-800-445-0361.  You can also call any branch to have our staff advance funds to your checking account for you. 

Overdraft Loans are a convenience!  The interest you pay on the Overdraft Line of Credit is significantly less than overdraft fees.  Plus, you will save yourself the embarrassment and devastating consequences that can come from bouncing checks.  What will my rate and payment be? The Overdraft Line of Credit approval, limit, and interest rate is based on the member's credit worthiness. Your rate may vary depending on individual credit history and the Credit Union's underwriting standards.  The payment will be 3.00% of your monthly outstanding balance, but never less than $25 per month.  To find out further details on this program please contact our loan department at 804-274-1200 or apply online.
